Heather Roberts
  • Heather Roberts is the Founder and CEO of 1852 Media, a full-service marketing and promotions agency for authors, and the Managing Owner and Senior Literary Agent at 1852 Literary, where she represents authors and negotiates both primary and subsidiary rights. A licensed Maryland attorney, Heather draws on her legal background and publishing experience to help authors, agents, and editors navigate the complex intersections of contracts, copyright, and creative rights. She also serves as a Justice of the Peace in Charlotte, Vermont, and sits on the boards of After Action, a veteran-focused nonprofit, and the Green Mountain Book Festival.

  • Veronica Adams is the COO of 1852 Media and a Senior Literary Agent at 1852 Literary. A licensed Florida attorney, she is a creative type at heart, her strengths shine in promotions and marketing, where she is free to be her quirky, imaginative self.  

    As a publicist, Veronica focuses on bringing individuals and businesses together with new audiences, as well as building and strengthening each client’s unique brand.

    As a literary agent, Veronica enjoys helping authors find new markets and readers and diversifying their streams of income. 

  • Becky Burrier is the Vice President of Acquisitions for 1852 Literary. She is also the Owner and Founder of Bookcase Media and Buzzing About Romance Podcast. Becky is an experienced publishing professional  with seven years in the industry, bringing expertise in acquisitions and  editing. In her work, Becky serves as both a copy editor and  beta reader, collaborating closely with authors to refine their  manuscripts. Her experience in acquisitions has further shaped her  insight into what makes a story resonate with readers.  Becky’s blend of editorial acumen and literary enthusiasm makes her an  invaluable resource in the romance community.

  • Yes. All sessions include full replay access. If you purchase an individual session or the full bundle, you will receive a link to the replay within 24 hours of the live event.

  • Absolutely. Each session is available individually for $30.
    If you already know you want all three paid sessions within a path, the $75 bundle offers the best value and includes everything you need for the year.

  • No. While attending live is encouraged so you can participate in Q&A and receive real-time feedback, it is not required.
    If you’re registered for a session, you will automatically receive the replay—even if you miss the live event.
